Afro Latin Ensemble (Workshop)
This class is super FUN! This is where we'll learn about the ridiculously AWESOME influence that African slaves had on the music that we listen to on a daily basis. The African Diaspora has made our music what it is...CONTAGIOUS! In class you'll learn to read music in a fun way...by playing drums. You'll learn to play congas, tumbadoras, guiro, guira, timbales, bongos, cowbells, cajónes, maracas, batá drums, piano, bass and other instruments that constitute an Afro-Latin ensemble.
